Once Five Years Pass

A Senior Project for Gary Jaffe and Bobby Foley

by Federico García Lorca

Once Five Years Pass

Federico García Lorca’s poetic, funny, surrealistic (or it?) masterpiece – a strangely delirious journey through time, a struggle over deeply held desires (unrequited, of course) and fantasies, and a profound exploration of how we choose to live our lives. A senior project for Gary Jaffe (Director/Translator) and for Bobby Foley (playing the role of the Young Man). You have never been part of a play like this – music, dance, puppetry, masks, clowns, spirits, and, above all, LOVE – it’s all there. Contact us if you want to join in! Great roles available for men and women. For your audition, please bring in two short (under two-minute) monologues – one verse (Shakespeare’s fine) and one prose. We can provide you with a monologue at the audition if you need one, just come a bit early!
