Want to write, direct, or act in the festival? Sign up here (must be logged in to EliApps).

The Yale Drama Coalition is proud to present our fifth 24-Hour Theater Festival! Over the course of a day, students will write, stage, and rehearse short pieces culminating in a performance of theater that didn't exist just 24 hours before.

Here's the breakdown:

April 11th, 8:00 PM: Playwrights receive prompts and have 12 hours to write short pieces.

April 12th, 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Directors look over the scripts.

April 12th, 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM: Actors and directors meet for rehearsal.

April 12th, 8:00 PM: Showtime!

The 24-Hour Theater Festival is a great way to gain experience, get to know the theater community, and try something you've never tried before. There's still time to get involved - contact Eliza Robertson (eliza.robertson@yale.edu) if you're interested!
